I had my very first official poetry reading at Poets & Pints on March 21, 2018! I was one of four featured writers and read my original work for 15 minutes. If you weren’t able to make it but are interested, my performance was recorded and can be found on my FB writer page:

Now, it was not my first time public speaking: I was involved in theater in high school; I have read work at my writers group events and some open mics around town; and I regularly give presentations for my job at regional and national conferences. But it is true… I had never been asked to participate as a featured writer before. This is my debut show!!!
